How does the volunteer application process work?

Fill out our online application. The volunteer coordinator receives this application and makes notes of your details and requests. You will be notified by June 1st if you have been approved for a volunteer position. A preliminary schedule is made roughly 3 weeks before the event and a schedule is sent out via email to everyone. If there are any issues with your schedule at this point, you must contact the volunteer coordinator as soon as possible to let her know so she can make the appropriate adjustments.

What kind of pass do I receive for working?

All volunteers will be given a sport pass for the day to enter the grounds when working. Once your shift has been completed and your Zone Coordinator has signed your timesheet saying that you worked you can go to the volunteer tent to pick up your evening music pass.

Evening Passes are given out at the discretion of the Volunteer Coordinator.

Is there an age limit for volunteers?

Volunteers must be 16 years or older. Anyone younger than 16 must be volunteering with a parent or guardian.

What should I bring to volunteer shift?

Volunteers must bring 2 (two) pieces of ID. One we will be taken as colateral and the other you need to have on you at all times to enter the beer gardens.

If you need to bring a bag, or bike we will have a volunteer lockbox where you can keep your valuables. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Where can I park while I am volunteering?

Parking is not available on-site. There are many paid parking lots located throughout the downtown core. We suggest trying to get a ride, walk, bus or bicycle.

Where do I check in for my shift?

The volunteer Check-in will be located at the front gate.Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your fist shift.

How long are the shifts?

All shifts are a minimum of 5hrs long. However, there are longer shifts available which are 6-8h. You will have the option on the application to sign up for longer shifts.
